Russia, Italy to sign intellectual property protection deal

FLORENCE. March 4 (Interfax) - Russia and Italy are planning to sign an agreement on the protection of intellectual property in 2005, said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov.
"This will enable Russian and Italian enterprises to cooperate in hi-tech sectors even more actively," Ivanov said at a press conference in Italy on Friday.
"There are no problems in Russian-Italian relations. They are open, transparent, and are developing in various areas," he said.
