CIO Summit @ Interop – The International Business Forum For IT-Directors in The Frameworks Of INTEROP Moscow 2006

CIO Summit @ Interop, the new international business forum of CIO, will take place on t 21 June, 2006 in the frameworks of INTEROP CONGRESS.
The general tendency of the IT and business integration improves the status of the Chief Information Officer. Besides the traditional CIO's aim to increase effectiveness of company's management the new strategic tasks of choosing the technology investment prioritization and developing of business yield appear. And now it isn't a random that the CIO position is equal very often to the level of vice-president.
The international forum CIO Summit @ Interop will be opened by the world-wide recognized CIOs. The foreign guests will share with forum's participants their practical experience in such areas as company's informational security, e-commerce, databases, and IT-infrastructure.
The invitation to make a report during the CIO Summit @ Interop was accepted by Francis A. "Fran" Dramis, executive vice president, chief information, eCommerce & security officer for BellSouth Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia. Mrs. Dramis is the expert in the informational security; he has created the e-commerce systems providing customer, supplier, and employee services via the Internet. Mrs. Dramis has been actively leading the transformation of technology at BellSouth. He partnered with the leaders of the business to complete a technology roadmap that now serves as the guide for technology investment prioritization. As one of the country's leading IT officers, Mrs. Dramis has been chosen several times in his career as a top CIO. His awards include CIO Magazine's Top 100 Leaders for the Next Millennium in 2000 and Computerworld's Premier 100 IT Leaders in 2002. In 2005 IT-infrastructure and informational security system of BellSouth Corporation received the special prize of CIO Magazine and was included in the first ten of the InformationWeek's rating of the most innovative users of technology.
The report will be made by Vladimir Bogdanov, CIO of Musicland Group. His areas of expertise include large-scale content databases. As the President of All Media Guide (AMG), an entertainment information database company he co-founded in 1991. Mrs. Bogdanov has a Ph.D. in Mathematics and has extensively worked in the areas of Information Retrieval and cognitive sciences.
Mykolas Rambus, the CIO for the W. P. Carey group of companies and since 2004 the first vice president for the W. P. Carey group of companies will take part in the forum. Mr. Rambus is responsible for managing all aspects of the group's information strategy and technical infrastructure. Prior to joining W. P. Carey, Mr. Rambus was the President and Chief Executive Officer of LOBBY7, a telecommunications software company that sells server products to North American and European wireless carriers. Mr. Rambus has appeared in numerous media outlets including the New York Times, CIO Magazine, CSO Magazine, and CIO Today.
The forum culmination will be the CIO Ring – the intellectual show for the CIOs. This unique competition will give the CIOs opportunity to reveal leadership, ability of free thinking and quick reacting on unexpected situations and unpredictable questions.
