RUSSOFT Companies Confirm Their Intention to Enter the World IT Elite by Extensive Participation in CeBIT 2006

February 20, 2006, Moscow - Russian Software Development Association RUSSOFT will gather leading software development companies from across the former Soviet Union for the sixth year running at CeBIT (March 9-15, 2006, Hannover, Germany).
Two collective pavilions will be organized on behalf of the Russian Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications. The marketing support of the pavilions is provided by leading Russian IT marketing agency Fort-Ross.
This year, IT-Russia’s show is presented under the unified brand Russia@CeBIT with a special Russian Roadmap uniting two collective large pavilions (RUSSOFT PAVILION, hall 8, # C 08 and RUSTELCO PAVILION, hall 12, # C 82) and about 70 separate booths of Russian IT companies (ABBYY, Kaspersky Laboratory, Speech Technology Center and others). This demonstrates that Russian IT software and services industry are a good fit for European markets, which have been responding positively to their products and services.
RUSTELCO PAVILION will be organized for the first time and will primarily unite companies providing telecommunications services in the Russian Federation. It is the best place to meet leaders of Russia’s telecommunication market. The stand measures 200 sq m.
RUSSOFT PAVILION has already had its own history in CeBIT. In 2001, RUSSOFT PAVILION was organized the first time (the stand was 20 sq m and united 14 Russian companies). After the first success, RUSSOFT PAVILION has grown year on year: in 2002 it measured 20 sq m and comprised 17 companies from Russia and Ukraine; in 2003 102 sq m and 18 companies from Russia and Ukraine; in 2004 76 sq m and 17 companies from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus; and in 2005 200 sq m and 28 companies from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. In this period RUSSOFT PAVILION has become a well-known and popular place where hundreds of people meet.
This year RUSSOFT PAVILION measures 130 sq m and comprises 20 companies.

- German-Russian ICT Forum – this annual Forum will be held for the third time at CeBIT. It is being organized by RUSSOFT Association and BITKOM, the leading German IT Association, in cooperation with the IT Ukraine Association and the Belarussian National Infopark Association. This event serves as an important meeting point for German companies and companies from the CIS countries to promote cooperation in the ICT sphere and to explore opportunities for beneficial business and strategic alliances. The Forum target audience will be CEOs, decision-makers and leading experts from these countries, as well as venture capitalists, consultants, and decision-makers at promotional agencies. The main topics of the Forum will include success stories of cooperation between CIS and Germany in ICT, managerial experience in cooperation, obstacles to cooperation and how to overcome them, best practices, etc. (http://www.bitkom.org/russia)
- Russian CIO Seminar - Fort-Ross marketing agency and the CIO Club organize a visit by the Russian IT Executives Delegation to CeBIT 2006. Among the Russian delegates there are over 20 CIOs from large and medium-sized Russian and CIS-state enterprises, financial and insurance sector companies, banks, factories, and trading companies that are highly interested in investigating and searching new IT products and technologies for their businesses. The Russian CIO Seminar will offer opportunity to present the latest IT solutions and technologies.
