DataArt is officially recognized as Best Employer in St. Petersburg
Jun 22, 2004
St. Petersburg, Russia - June 17, 2004 : "Working for IT companies in St. Petersburg is great!" That was the participant consensus after the Russian Software Outsourcing Summit 2004, organized by FORT-ROSS consortium in St. Petersburg. DataArt won "Best Employer" nomination, ahead of rivals IBM (Russia) and Reksoft.
This award was a result of the well thought out human resources policy for the company. DataArt pursues a horizontal company management structure, which considers every employee to be equally important for the company's success.
DataArt has issued a stock option plan ensuring company success is shared with its employees. This is a rare incentive to be issued by a Russian company.
"It was important for us to win this title, as we are convinced that our employees are our main asset and competitive advantage. We do everything we possibly can to ensure that DataArt is comfortable and pleasant place to work. We have a spacious office, medical insurance and other benefits, we plan to open a company cafe, and a kindergarten, as the number of our employees having children is rising steadily," commented Eugene Goland.
In the nearest future DataArt plans to launch a special program for students to learn operations of a software development company. DataArt is certain that this program will be very popular among the student community in the city.
