Telma recently sponsored a Nizhny Novgorod State University team's participation in 27th annual world programming competition among students. This event has been hosted by international Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

The final of this competition is to occur on March, 22 through 26 in Hollywood, CA, USA. This year over 3000 teams from about 1500 top universities of 70 countries from around the globe are set to compete, with only 64 teams to make it to the finals. As an outcome, the best teams are to be awarded a world champion and continent champion titles.

This most prestigious programmer competition takes place since 1977. Throughout the years it became an ultimate source of top programming talents and is widely supported by major IT corporations. Since 1997 IBM has become the No. 1 sponsor of the event after earlier 5 years of Microsoft sponsorship.
