Luxoft conducted IT-class for top-level management of the Boeing company

On 5 February 2002 an IT-class for top management of the Boeing company was held at LUXOFT headquarters. The primary aim of the event was to make representatives of the aerospace giant acquainted with the basic tendencies of Russian IT industry development, narrate about the most promising trends and present the brightest achievements.
The IT-class started with a presentation by Eugene Peskin, vise-president of the IBS Holding, in which current condition of Russian IT industry was analyzed and forecast for development in the nearest future outlined. Also Eugene informed the audience about the activities of the IBS Holding and presented the set of services offered by the comprising companies as well as imparted plans for further business diversification to the high rank guests.
The lion's share of the event was devoted to LUXOFT, with which Boeing cooperates for over 2 years, and its activities. LUXOFT representatives told the "students" about the company's projects in the field of research and development, organization of production process and peculiarities of the company's HR management policy. Besides, in terms of the IT-class the participants discussed closed and current projects as well as prospect for the development of new directions in the cooperation of the two companies.
Following the official part the most interesting projects, implemented by LUXOFT, were demonstrated, and prospective technologies developed by the company's experts presented. Besides LUXOFT representatives of the Neurok company, who presented a series of new neuronet products and stereovision systems, and IBS Division of Situation Modeling, involved in three-dimensional graphics models creation, shared with the IT-class participants their technological achievements.
Management of the Boeing Company expressed a serious interest in the prolongation of its fruitful cooperation with Russian hi-tech companies, and pointed out the highest level of professionalism and creativity of Russian specialists.
