First, is its format, when we had a very busy schedule being able to talk virtually to all prospective partners, having at the same time an opportunity to relax and enjoy free time with colleagues. Second, it is a great opportunity to access Nordic IT market, which is not as easily accessible as German or US markets.»

"A Cruise was very important for me, I got lot of contacts and now I have much more better understanding about Russian markets", says Mr. Markku Rautio Senior Sales Manager at Corenet Ltd.

Valentin Makarov, President of RUSSOFT: "We attach a lot of attention to the Scandinavian and to the Finish outsourcing markets, even the outcome is still relatively small compared to US or German markets. A very productive discussion over experience gained by both sides during the last 5 years came out with a very important conclusion: we created trust by such meetings as Baltic Cruise, trust began to create partnerships and partnerships began to bring success and prosperity for both sides. Even if that takes some time, we all believe in synergetic potential of our cooperation and are committed to continue navigating in the Baltic See in the future".

Michael Tsygankov, Director of St.Petersburg branch Luxoft: "Baltic Cruise 2006 provided us with a unique opportunity to expose Luxoft's IT Service offerings designed to support the entire software development life cycle to the main players in Scandinavian technology market. It was also very helpful in gaining an understanding of the key elements comprising this important market segment. Good exposure to promising deal opportunities!"
