StarSoft Enjoys Another Year of Record Growth in 2005

Cambridge, Massachusetts, March 1, 2005 --- StarSoft Development Labs, the Cambridge-based software services company with offshore development centers in Russia and Ukraine, has recorded 79% revenue growth in 2005. StarSoft has exhibited sustained annual growth of 75% for the last two years. The company’s revenues have tripled since 2003, and its global headcount increased by 60% in the last 12 months.
StarSoft has expanded its client portfolio in the U.S., adding several new strategic accounts in 2005. StarSoft’s tremendous growth can be attributed to both new business acquired on both sides of the Atlantic, and the expansion of operations with its long-term clients. Key factors in this success are StarSoft’s world class quality work, its deep technical expertise, and an unwavering responsiveness to client’s needs.
During 2005, StarSoft enhanced its service offering by joining the Intel® Early Access Program (EAP), which strengthened the company’s position in Eastern Europe’s increasingly competitive software outsourcing market. Membership in the program gives StarSoft access to unsurpassed software development tools and platforms, top-notch engineering support, and comprehensive technical training from Intel. As an EAP member, StarSoft now develops, deploys and tests systems it builds for its customers on the widest range of technologically advanced hardware platforms, including production-ready and pre-released Intel platforms.
In addition, StarSoft launched a new software development center in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine in 2005. The new center gives StarSoft and its clients access to the highly qualified workforce and competitive prices of the Ukrainian market, and provides StarSoft with further opportunities for growth. StarSoft plans to open new development centers throughout Russia and other CIS countries in 2006.
