Russian IT Market Needs to be Increased

Russia's share in the world's IT market amounted to 0.7 percent, Russian Deputy Information Technologies and Communications Minister Dmitry Milovantsev declared at a press conference in Moscow. According to him, the Russian IT market's turnover reached $6.2bn in 2003, whereas it was $366bn in the USA. This figure is very low for Russia and it is necessary to improve this situation, the deputy minister underlined.
