Technology Outsourcing Systems (TOS) participated with success in the forum "Siberian Industry of Information Systems" in Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk. TOS managed to establish a number of very interesting contacts to a number of the leading IT firms in the region.
TOS, who is one of the leading outsourcing firms in Scandinavia, work out from a principle on very high level of communication and direct contact to the managements of the firms that they work together with. A basis rule in the TOS concept is, that the suppliers are partners and TOS want to establish long time relationships and not just work on a project-to-project base.
The Forum showed once again, that the potential for the Russian IT industry is as high as it can be. The firms have a professional view on business and their strategy is clear, they want to be the best, not just on short-term level, but on long-term level.
TOS visited during their stay in Novosibirsk a number of firms and especially two firms impressed TOS very much; UniPro and Novosoft. Both firms with managements and infrastructures that lead the thought to the most professional firms in the international IT world.
The forum also showed how the corporation between the Russian Authorities, the Scientifically World and the Industry work together for promoting the intellectual "Gold" that exists in the IT Industry of Russia and especially here in Siberia.
There is no doubt in the mind of TOS, that some of the future corporation partners will be found in Novosibirsk and that this will be for long and fruitful corporations.
The CEO of TOS, Jens Brinksten says, that he does not remember when he last have been on a trip, which has given him so much to think about, because TOS went to this Forum without really knowing what to expect.
