The Project of the First Techno Park was Presented in Primorye
Last Friday at Marine State University in Vladivostok, the seminar-meeting was held and the organizers of this seminar presented their project of creation of industrial techno park in Partizansk Area, Nakhodka, and the port Vostochniy.

As the developers believe the first industrial and technological park in the Far East will become a platform for the Russian and foreign investments into an oil-and-gas complex, shipbuilding, and mechanical engineering, and also a place where high technologies will actively take root. It will allow creating an infrastructure of the science intensive industries in the south of Primorsky Territory, will attract investors and will create additional jobs.
As RIA PrimaMedia was informed in the press-service of Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Territory, the Chairman of the Territory Parliament Victor Gorchakov participated in this meeting and had a talk with representatives of education, science, business and industry.
In Victor Gorchakov's opinion, when realizing the strategy of innovative development, it is necessary to keep in mind that Russian and, particularly, the Far East science possesses sufficient potential for developing its own new technologies. In the number of industries we can provide the whole cycle independently - from scientific research up to bringing hi-tech product to the market.
"Nowadays it's early to speak about efficiency of the offered projects, but we are glad that small and medium business joins actively the region's developing. We need to define the concrete steps in this direction at this stage. But we shouldn't make too bold a push, we should remember our former unsuccessful attempts not to repeat them and not to be considered dreamers and experimenters," Victor Gorchakov said.
Today we can see a real techno park boom in the world. Almost a quarter of all techno parks have been created after the year 2000. There are good examples in China, Vietnam, and also in some regions of Russia. Primorsky Territory has all chances, using its geographical position to built itself into this segment of the market and even to occupy the leading position.
