Nizhny Novgorod, Russia - November 4. In assembly hall of NNTU was celebrated the presentation of state certificates of rising of qualification to students of IT professions. Students successfully completed 2-years course of additional education in accordance with Telma training program. The program was specially developed for students of IT professions and 25 NNTU students are its fist graduates.

Vladimir Kirienko, head of NNTU, and Valery Kalachev, president of Telma, opened the presentation. They presented certificates to students and congratulated them with successful completion of training course.

This is the first experience of such kind of cooperation between University and IT Company in Russia. It occurred in new economic conditions when the Russian high school is moving to new rules of work that requires a new approach to education. Telma completely financed the new education program, developed several new courses and approved each program's component - lectures and practice. Right now there are no analogues of this program exist in Russia.

The plans for future of cooperation between Telma and Universities include:
  • financing of development of new special training courses in the area of IT;
  • financing of educational activities;
  • opening of new IT labs and financing of training and research projects;
  • organizing of new programming contests.
This will allow creating in Universities the training system that graduates highly professional IT-specialists with guaranteed placing in a job at Telma.

This approach not only helps Telma to satisfy its need for IT professionals but also makes the significant investment in Russian education that enhances it prestige.
