The Roundtable discussion is organized by Auriga Company. The event aims to focus on critical challenges and opportunities for IT human resources that impact the performance and competitiveness of the Russian IT industry. Roundtable participants will discuss reasons for a shortfall of skilled IT professionals in Russia, measures to improve IT education and training, ways of enhancing interaction between IT business and IT education, and identify priorities for action. The event will bring together key leaders from the RF Ministry of Education and Science, Russian top universities, and first-tier software development companies.

The Roundtable moderators are Alexis Sukharev, Auriga President, and Arcady Khotin, President of Arcadia. The Roundtable will be the culmination of broad-based discussions on IT education and training in Russia, including the ICTIA conference in May 2004 and RUSSOFT press club in April 2004. The Roundtable will be convened on 11 June 2004, 09:00 - 10:30, in Congress Hall of Pulkovskaya Hotel, St. Petersburg. The Summit organizer Consortium "Fort-Ross" and Auriga invite you to participate in the Roundtable discussions.
