Industrial Output Grows in Russia

Industrial production growth was 5.5 percent in May 2004 compared to May 2003, the Russia federal state statistics service reported. At the same time, industrial output decreased 1.5 percent last month compared to April 2004.
In January to May 2004, industrial production advanced 7 percent against the corresponding period of last year.
