The Russian communications industry is expected to grow by 42-45% by the end of 2003. This was announced by Deputy Russian Minister for Communications and Informatization Alexander Kiselyov.
He said that the mobile phone network is the fastest growing area. The number of mobile phone users in Russia is expected to reach 35 million by the end of the year and 3 million in Saint Petersburg.
