Coding School Opens in Moscow

A Western-style coding school has been opened by the Russian entrepreneurs Kirill Zhvalov and Vadim Rezvyi in partnership with Dream Industries’ DI Telegraph project

Dec 19, 2013
According to the founders, Moscow Coding School (MCS) offers a "unique environment in which developers from successful Russian and Western start-ups, and media and Internet companies use topical courses to involve those who are interested in the world of web coding and mobile development by helping both newcomers and professionals deepen their knowledge through the implementation of real projects."

The school has partnered with SoundCloud, Look At Media, Dream Industries, Innova Systems and W-O-S.ru, whose lead programmers will act as the first teachers of the program.

The first three courses – Basics of HTML and CSS, Dynamic Web with jQuery and Web Developer Tools – will be led by the developer behind SoundCloud Misha Reyzlin (Berlin, Germany), front-end developer of the Third Place and Exchange.es projects (Dream Industries) Roman Gordeev and Innova Systems’ main web technologist and creator of the popular Emmet.io plugin Sergei Chikuenok. The next series of courses is expected to be led by New York-based producer and encoder Slava Balasanov, as well as teams of developers from Look At Media and W-O-S.
