St. Petersburg, Russia, 14 September 2004 - LUXOFT CEO, Dmitry Loschinin was elected to the Board of the United Russian Association of Software Development Companies.
United Russian Software Outsourcing Association named RUSSOFT has formed as the result of the merger of two local associations. The unified association now consolidates more than 70 companies with total revenue of more than $150 million USD.
LUXOFT CEO, Dmitry Loschinin, led the drive to merge the two influential groups. The merger achieves another important step in the maturation of the Russian software outsourcing market. "We endeavor to promote Russia in a way that demonstrates our ability to compete with India, China, and all others on a global scale. Only a united and coordinated effort will help us reach the common goal of significantly aiding the Russian economy by substantially increasing software export", remarked Dmitry Loschinin.
