Speech Technology Center quality management system now complies to ISO 9001:2000. Speeech Technology Center (STC), headquartered in St. Petersburg, Russia, designs, develops, manufactures and markets hardware and software speech and general signal processing products for commercial and governmental applications. Now STC is one of the few Russian companies certified according to ISO quality requirements.
STC quality management system is now ISO 9001:2000 certified. Speech Technology Center passed the audit by the independent certifying company Det Norske Veritas. No non-compliances were revealed by auditors.
Most essential points of the new standard edition are its requirements of continuous quality improvement and describing the company as a system of business-processes. Compliance of company with ISO 9001 is an important factor in its good control, i.e. its business stability, fast problem solving and effective market reaction. Implementing this management system enables the company to meet requirements of its customers and foretell these requirements in advance.
