The American Embassy in Moscow simplifies the process of obtaining a nonimmigrant visa

Oct 21, 2001
The American Embassy in Moscow has resumed visa services for Russia. The Embassy has also presented a new program in visa services to make the process of obtaining a nonimmigrant visa easier.

Since October 22, applications for nonimmigrant visas may be made at three offices of Federal Express in Moscow. Applicants should submit their passport, an official application, visa fees and any documents in support of the application. Cost of the service is 500 rubles.

If eligible under U.S. law, applicants will receive their passports and visas for travel to the United States by Federal Express delivered to the address they specify. Those applicants requiring a personal interview will be invited to come to the Embassy on a specific date.
