October 9, Moscow. Following the example of India's NASSCOM, Russian software development industry strives to consolidate. The recently formed National Software Development Association has announced the results of its first month work. To the date 25 Russian offshore programming companies have joined the Association. Mr. Gaifullin, ex-CEO of Interface Ltd, has been elected the President of the Association.

The primary goal of the NSDA is to represent the interests of Russian offshore programming industry and to create a positive image of Russia at international markets. Another goal is to improve the political and economical environment in Russia to make it more favorable for the industry.
