Rusbase.Pipeline to reveal targeted demand for start-ups

RVC and Rusbase have launched Rusbase.Pipeline, a new online tool to encourage interaction between investors and entrepreneurs

Aug 13, 2014
The new service is reportedly designed to enhance the transparency of both technology and capital markets, as well as the quality of communication both between entrepreneurs and investors and inside the investment community itself. The service is expected to bring the needs of all types of investors under a certain easy-to-comprehend structure and give both entrepreneurs and investors access to the demand side of the market.

The Rusbase.Pipeline service is part of the Talk2VC program which RVC and Rusbase got off the ground earlier this year to try and increase the effectiveness of tools Russian venture investors currently have in their work with technology entrepreneurs.

Rusbase.Pipeline will act as an exchange platform to place orders for start-ups. The service will offer registration opportunity to a range of investors—from the beginners, who have no transaction experience and are ready to invest $100,000 and more, to private investment professionals and angel investors with years of start-up-backing experience under their belt. Users may include VCs and PEs, asset management executives, representatives of corporate venture funds, as well as the top management of large-scale companies responsible for innovation and interested in strategic deals.

The project offers users a special filtering function, giving each participant the opportunity to indicate a certain number of criteria, including investment priorities. This is expected to help entrepreneurs streamline their search for investors and smarten up interaction with them.
