January 22, 2004. Auriga Inc, a U.S.-Russian provider of offshore, offsite, and onsite software development services, has appointed Elena Gordeeva to Director of Human Resources, a newly created position based in Moscow.

Elena Gordeeva will head the corporate HR team and will focus on recruiting, developing and retaining Auriga employees as well as further enhancing the work environment and culture. She will also take charge of initiating and monitoring Auriga's human resources strategy, policies and procedures to scale the company's offshore software development centers.

Elena brings over 12 years of personnel and business management experience with Russian, U.S., and multinational companies in the technology sector and other industries. Prior to joining Auriga Elena was the general manager and HR manager at the Moscow office of Ruscode Inc., an offshore software development company. Elena also worked for OpenPages Inc., where she was responsible for recruiting software engineers for their facility in Moscow.
