The first project within the framework of this strategic partnership will engage above 100 MERA’s software engineers to provide the complete cycle of development, testing and support services for the TietoEnator SS7 signaling solutions. The scope of assignments to be contracted is expected to grow in the course of the next few years.
TietoEnator’s global sourcing strategy is based on a clear division of responsibilities between TietoEnator’s business units, the sites close to TietoEnator’s customers and the low-cost sourcing sites for certain areas of expertise. MERA Networks came superbly qualified to meet every requirement that TietoEnator desired in a sourcing partner for Telecom software R&D.
