In late November RUSSOFT Association and "Fort-Ross" organize a meeting for Russian and Scandinavian companies. The meeting is named "The First Baltic IT Cruise" and will take place onboard of Viking Line ferry traveling between Helsinki and Stockholm, from November 21 till November 23.

The First Baltic IT Cruise is the meeting where participants from Nordic countries can learn more about IT opportunities of Russia and Baltic countries and get an overview of the best examples of already existing co-operation in the field of IT outsourcing. Over 150 CEOs and CIOs of companies from all cities and regions around the Baltic Sea are expecting to participate in the conference - Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland.

Quality Assurance, higher IT education, Open Code in software development, best practices of outsourcing to the Baltic States are among the topics of the sessions. Participants will also have enough time for B2B meetings.

The Nordic countries have been leaders within telecom and Internet penetration for several years already, but to keep that leadership, the large pool of the world best resources could not be overseen. St Petersburg region and Baltic countries can offer a broad scale of IT services for the Nordic businesses, IT companies as well as end users.
