Phoenix TS contracted with Optima for creating a web-based database and reporting solution for a car dealership chain. The system was needed to help keep track of the leads coming into the stores and subsequent sales that resulted from those leads. The eventual database was to show the ratios and relationships between the number of leads compared to the number of walk-ins compared to the number of final sales.
The completed web-based system allows multiple data entry by clerks in multiple locations to add/modify data in the database. In addition, executives are able to generate reports and view the data for different dealerships in different cities from their desks without the hassle of having to request copies. They are also able to view data from periods of their choice. The solution is based on a secure site and provides different levels of authorization.
