Ardin Software Oy, Finland (www.ardinsoftware.fi) is a marketing and sales agent for Scandinavian Group. Ardin Software is located in Technopolis premises close to Helsinki airport. Ardin Software has office in St.Petersburg which is involved in project management of outsourcing and other projects coming from Scandianvian countries.

The Scandinavian Group (ScG, www.russian-programmers.org) is a virtual community of high level software professionals and sw developers in CIS countries. The main goal of ScG community is to join efforts and offer a wide variety of ICT (IT and Telecom) services for Scandinavian market. Community has currently over 20 members e.g. from North-West Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Community supports and develops solutions for IT and Telecom area.

During strategy days in St. Petersburg Ardin Software ICT Marketing Managers had the first meetings with ScG companies to provide networking and consultancy of Scandinavian ICT market. This is a new way to get ICT connections and projects started faster than usually.

Ardin Software Marketing Managers and ICT professionals Ms. Hamalainen and Mr. Holopainen spent one week (21-24, Nov) in St. Petersburg working intensively with ScG companies. Most of meeting participants were management from Russian members of Scandinavian Group (ScG) and from Ukraine and Belarus.

The main discussion topics were how to create a true marketing channel for Russian software services and solutions in Scandinavia, define the position of IT and Telecom services offered by the ScG and to market them in the most efficient way in Scandinavia.

Coming back to Helsinki, Ms. Hamalainen and Mr. Holopainen who have long experience in ICT area summarized the visit:

"It looks like that the IT and Telecom market demand in Finland and the services provided by ScG have not found each others yet. The ground work is already done by Ardin Software in Finland. This gives a very good opportunity to ScG members to get access to Scandinavian ICT market, find customers and learn more about the market situation.

We were impressed about the capabilities the Scandinavian Group companies have. There is unrevealed potential in these companies for ICT projects, outsourcing and for solving advanced cases, also.

As one contact point to several opportunities in CIS countries, we at Ardin Software can give added-value service to companies who are looking for a solution in IT or in Telecom projects. The Finnish Marketing Managers and Consultants are locally present in Finland to meet Finnish and other Scandinavian customers. We help the customer to make a right solution and find right services from ScG member companies. Negotiations and the contract can be done in Finland. We believe that now it is the time to connect the market demand and possibilities to go further together in efficient way."
