The National Software Development Association RUSSOFT held an annual conference at which the summary report and the Auditing Commission report were heard. There was also confirmed the Board resolution upon the NSDA President elections. In addition, the Board elections were held. The conference traced the strategy of the Association development for 2004.
Valentin Makarov, the Association ex-President made the annual report. The co-organization of the Russian IT Seasons (USA, Germany), the Third International Software Outsourcing Summit (Saint Petersburg), and the Russian CIO Summit (Moscow) were the most important events of the Association, he said.
Within that year, the RUSSOFT Board representatives made speeches and presentations at some significant international forums. Alexander Egorov, Reksoft CEO, and Alexis Sukharev, Auriga President, made the speeches at the EuroForum (Mainz, Germany). Victor Weinstein, Aplana Software Services CEO spoke at the conference in Paris and at the seminar held during the Partnership for Prosperity and Security exhibition (Pennsylvania), and Nikolay Puntikov, Star Software ÿåí - at the conference during the Comdex (USA).
The speakers represented several RUSSOFT companies at the IT Panel of the World Russian Forum in the US Senate. Three NSDA companies sponsored the semi-final of the ACM International Programming Collegiate Contest in Saint Petersburg.
The RUSSOFT conference elected the Board of the Association: Sergey Andreyev (ABBYY Software House), Victor Weinstein (Aplana Software Services), Arcady Dobkin (EPAM Systems), Alexander Egorov (Reksoft), Valery Kalachev (Telma Ltd.), Dmitry Loschinin (LUXOFT), Vladimir Spiridonov (RUSSOFT), Alexis Sukharev (Auriga, Inc).
Nikolay Puntikov, Star Software, is elected as Board Chairman.
At the Conference Vladimir Spiridonov was confirmed unanimously in his position as President.
Ajilon Consulting and New Age Network companies were presented as the new members of the Association.
