HP Promotes Russian Banking Solutions
Russia’s BPC has entered into an agreement with Hewlett-Packard under which HP will include the company’s SmartVista software solutions in packages offered by the U.S. computer giant

Hewlett-Packard has been a longtime partner of BPC, the world’s leading provider of Open System e-payment solutions for the global financial industry. In 2011, the company received certification from the PC and server manufacturer for compliance with HP’s concept of converged infrastructure.

"Now, as part of our strategic alliance, we offer the SmartVista family of products to our customers worldwide. Thanks to our work with BPC, flawless products to help streamline all aspects of the payments industry now exist."
SmartVista solutions were designed for the financial sector and allow companies to administer bankcard payments. The suite of solutions includes: SmartSwitch to process authorization requests for card transactions, SmartIssuer to process applications for card issuance, SmartMerchant to facilitate interaction between businesses, SmartATM network management, SmartBilling and SmartGuard which analysis customer behavior for fraud protection.
SmartVista products are certified by international payment systems such as American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa, and include the issuing and acquiring of EMV-standard chip cardd. The company’s solutions are fully compatible with a range of HP platforms from HP/Linux and HP-UX to HP NonStop, the company said. During load testing in 2013, SmartVista on HP NonStop using SQL/MX demonstrated performance of over 6,100 transactions per second.
