The Second Session of the RUSSOFT Press-Club

This session is devoted to the theme: "The European Market: Prospects for Russian Developers. To where do the combination of new trends and old problems lead us?"

About RUSSOFT:
National Software Development Association RUSSOFT unites more than 50 leading companies in the field of Software Development from Russia and Belarus.
In 2002 total export turnover of RUSSOFT's members was about $150 million, which is about 50% of export turnover of a whole software development industry of Russia. According to Gartner Group's forecasts, this sector of Russian economy will grow annually more than 50%. The growth between 2000 and 2003 is 277%.
RUSSOFT press club is:
- A platform for informal communication between Russian companies (software developers and exporters) and business and IT-area journalists;
- An opportunity to receive the latest informal and formal information about the situation in Russian software branch, about successes and perspectives of our IT-companies, about the position of Russian government and, of course, the world-wide tendencies in the field of software;
- Regular meetings in the cosy atmosphere of Moscow "Duma club", where participants will be able to talk about Russian software development market while wine and tea will be served.
Developing new traditions is always a hard task, especially in the business culture. But sometime denying these obvious steps could decrease the competitiveness and the development of any branch. Now, it's an exiting time for the Russian IT industry, it is emerging and increasing pretty fast. Avoiding this fact, working in this industry without looking forward and missing the opportunity to grow, were possible yesterday. Within the launch of RUSSOFT press club, everything will change. - Preparations for RUSSOFT's Pavilion at CeBIT being held in Germany - March, 2003
- Company presentations given by RUSSOFT members currently working in the European market
- Announcement of the Second Russian-American IT round table to take place in the USA - planned for February, 2003
- And finally the buffet
