Euromoney's publisher comments on conference Russia 2002: A Bull in a Bear Market

Optimism of reports of Russian participants distinguishes this conference from the previous ones, Neil Osborn, publisher of Euromoney and one of the organizers of the "Russia 2002: A Bull in a Bear Market" international conference, declared today. According to him, Russians' reports at similar forums over the past several years have been full of pessimism and criticism. At the same time the present conference is principally important because it promotes constructive contacts of potential Western investors and Russian entrepreneurs. Moreover, we have witnessed a growth in the national production volume and positive structural changes in Russian economy over recent years, he added.
