Project Title: Powerful quotes calculation framework for Fortune 100 insurer

The Challenge

In the insurance industry the number of factors that affect any given premium in the quotation process can be quite large and the rules that are applied to the premium may be very complex.
The challenge was to deliver a powerful calculation environment, which would be adaptable to the frequent changes in business process and integrate seamlessly with the client’s legacy IT system.

The Solution

Our solution provided insurance managers with an ability to create custom insurance products based upon various conditions/formulas and dynamically keep track of all changes.
While other similar systems developed for insurance industry should be rewrited / recompiled during each significant change in requirements, our product could be easily customized and reconfigured with minimal time and zero financial efforts. Flexible product building tools and custom formula language ensure the system can be easily configured to suite specific needs. In order to achieve maximum productivity the system supports real-time validations/hints.
