The Challenge

A large national wireless provider from Europe with nearly 4 million mobile subscribers hired Artezio to help them enhance their CRM system, so that the interactive voice response system and customer care representatives could conveniently pull up a history of recent outbound communication with the subscriber, to be able to determine whether customer calls were caused by dunning SMS messages recently sent to them.

The Solution

Software development workflow was split into two concurrent sub-projects: one for developing an application for managing history of customer communications and the other for developing an SMS message handling application.
In this project Artezio took full advantage of the Web services technology. The communications history application was exposed to other existing and would be enterprise applications and systems through a web services query and insert interface. Many industry analysts concede that web services are becoming a number one platform for enterprise application integration.
All coding and testing was done at the Artezio software development center in Moscow. The entire project from start to finish was managed by an Artezio project manager who reported to a customer on-site coordinator. Artezio testing department designed test scenarios, developed a test plan, and engaged its resources in multi-unit, system and performance testing of the software.
