Project Title: An Electronic Storage Project
A managing company for Russian nuclear energetics
The Challenge
Rosenergoatom’s project goal was to create electronic storage of legal and design documents for repair of nuclear plant equipment. Since many paper documents were presented in a single copy, simultaneous work of multiple users with one and the same document was extremely complicated. Similar problem was faced if it was necessary to access documents from nuclear plants.The Solution
Electronic storage project for Rosenergoatom (VNIIAES) was completed in october 2005. The project was implemented by VO Avtopromimport, IRP Technology’s methods and technologies were used in the course of project implementation.As a result, electronic storage software was put into trial operation, and a part of VNIIAES documents were converted in the electronic form. Taking into account the results of trial operation it is planned to further develop the system both in terms of integration with other applications, and extension of information resources.
Solution advantages:
- The solution provides controlled user access to storage documents from any point by means of the standard WEB interface from any platform;
- The software does not require any configuration by users;
- Server component is easily scalable and attached with customer’s IT infrastructure.
In addition to electronic storage functions, this software enables document exchange between users and work discipline control.
