Project Title: Electronic Sales Management System for “Baltic Pearl” Ltd
The Challenge
"Baltic Pearl" (www.balticpearl.ru) is a subsidiary of St.Petersburg department of Shanghai Oversea United Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., which is owned by major Chinese corporations — Shanghai Industrial Investment Holding Co., ltd., Shanghai Brilliance Group Holdings Ltd., Jin Jiang International Holdings Co., Ltd., Shanghai Greenland Group and Shanghai Development Center «Europe & Asia».Baltic Pearl is implementing a turnkey construction project in south-west St.Petersburg, including apartment buildings to house over 35000 residents and infrastructures. The total area of the building estate, which is expected to be completed within 8 years, amounts to 205 hectares, while investments in the project have reached $1.3 billion.
Baltic Pearls sales department management faced the task to obtain an efficient system to manage company relationships with prospective customers (buyers of apartments) — the system had to support apartment reservation and sales, provide an intuitive interface, tools to search for an apartment by user-defined criteria and view apartment layout, as well as provide finance & planning capabilities. Keeping in mind these multifaceted requirements the managers were choosing between the turnkey CRM system and bespoke solution.
Baltic Pearl put the implementation of the system out to tender and chose Digital Design out of three companies as the most experienced developer of such systems. Digital Design solution was to create a bespoke sales management system to fully satisfy complex requirements of Baltic Pearl.
The Solution
The system will help manage relationships with buyers of apartments during pre-sales phase, actual sale and after-sales period. For this, two components have been implemented:- CRM (Customer Relationships Management) module
- Apartment sales module
Sales management system provides a number of essential capabilities, of which CRM features allow its users to:
- Input and store client information
- Compile and tune the client information page by displaying and hiding individual client attributes
- Trace client calls and visits
- Notify clients about events following pre-defined notification rules
- Remind about meetings, calls and payments due
- Grant role-based information access
