Project Title: Radio network management system
World leading provider of telecommunications networking software (USA)
The Challenge
The project involved implementation of a software product for resource management of the radio-access portion of second and third generation wireless networks. It had to support both GSM and UTRAN networks and the GPRS technology in a flexible architecture accommodating wireless new generation network elements and plug-ins.The Solution
It was a project based entirely on Java, including a GUI and an application server. Distributed parts of the software were connected using the CORBA technology. XML served as a formatting standard. Artezio coders worked on assignments and change requests received from the client, who integrated modules developed offshore and modules developed onsite into a cohesive product. The project was completed on schedule. By outsourcing a lion’s share of coding effort to Artezio, the customer on-site product team focused on design, core functionality, testing, product integration, and marketing.Tools and Technologies
