The Challenge

Renaissance Textile Inc, textile wholesaler based in New York, looked for inventory and accounting solution that would take specific features of their business into account. After reviewing and evaluating existing products on the market they had decided to order custom tailored software application. SoftDev had been chosen for developing such kind of application. The main requirement was to provide power and comfortable user interface, and possibility of quick and easy customization of the application in the future.

The Solution

SoftDev specialists designed unique architecture based on set of business and visual components. This architecture satisfied two goals: 1) fast development and releasing of application functionality and 2) making changes and corrections on-the-fly according to client reviews on regular basis.

Having worked hand in hand with client representatives SoftDev team had released 1st version of the application in six months. After the implementation SoftDev provided application support and maintenance during one year.

Results: Reporting system of the application helped the client to analyze their sales and purchasing processes, to optimize them that resulted in reducing expenses and increasing revenue during first three months of using the system. During support period SoftDev made changes to the system according to client requests.
