Project Title: Integrated information and management system

The Challenge

The CLIENT is a leading genetic testing and diagnosis company, dedicated to serving individuals and families suffering from severe hereditary disorders. The company's main business process consisted of Scientific research and Financial control. Scientific research was carried out and results were stored on Macs, while the Finance was handled on PCs. As a result, files on the PCs could not be accessed from the Macs, or vice versa. The main aim of the project was to combine the scientific and financial systems, to act as one.

The Solution

The new solution was created on Windows platform, accessible to any user on both Windows and Mac platforms. The project had three major parts:

• Workflow automation
  
• Financial monitoring and control
  
• Analytical reports
