Project Title: Fusion Enterprise Content Management System
For more than a decade SWORD Group has been providing innovative ECM solutions to allow its customers to comply with the most stringent regulatory requirements.
The Challenge
Fusion is a framework for delivering successful Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for Regulated Industries. The product combines the best of an enterprise infrastructure system and a focused business solution, providing high value solutions precisely tuned to the business requirements of specific regulated industries, which are able to replace or leverage the existing ECM investments. An open tender was announced to select an offshore development partner for SWORD Group. Itransition Software was selected from a number of vendors from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and India.The Solution
The key factors that allowed Itransition to provide a low-risk, cost-effective solution in close cooperation with our Client were:- strong business requirements analysis
- workspace-oriented architecture
- iterative development
- consistent quality assurance services
Having started with gathering product requirements and architecture analysis, Itransition proceeded with the prototype release of Fusion Reference Library Standard in just one month and a full release in four months. A component-based approach in Fusion framework with Personalization and Easy Configuration provided low-cost adoption and tailoring to the Customer’s needs as well as a variety of "ready-to-use" products offered to the Customer.
