Project Title: TrueConf enables one of the largest hospital network in Germany to conduct regular meetings, trainings, and urgent consultations with video conferencing

The Challenge

Ortenau Klinikum has an application, which is used by its radiologists. They share content within this application in the conference with other radiologists in remote sites. The clinic wanted to install a user friendly system for conferencing between 3 locations by delivering medical applications to all conference members in good quality.

The Solution

TrueConf was one of the first products the clinic really did extensive tests on. After doing a test setup in its headquarters, Ortenau Klinikum decided to extend its testing to a remote site. For the result was better than the solution they were currently using, the clinic decided to use TrueConf as its primary video conferencing system.

With TrueConf Server Ortenau Klinikum was able to connect 20 endpoints for its employees to participate in regular conference meetings directly from their workplaces, with no need to install expensive additional equipment or organizing dedicated meeting rooms in each location. With the ability to integrate TrueConf Server with their LDAP they have also eliminated the problem with managing user accounts manually.

Overall, TrueConf has proven to be easy to work with, especially taking into account their discounted prices for Healthcare institutions, and the size of the clinic’s project. The clinic manages to deploy the solution in all its organization with help from TrueConf's Support Team.

Ortenau Klinikum was satisfied with the project on the whole. The TrueConf Server solution completely realized its requirements for a conference solution. The really quick response times of the sales and support team in the whole process of the project was remarkable.
