Consortium Fort-Ross, Finpro and Russia ICT Connector Project invite you to participate in the road show of Russian software development companies in Helsinki.
The seminar - presentation of successful co-operation between Finnish customers and Russian software developers will take place in Finpro Building (Porkkalankatu 1, in Ruoholahti area), on November 10, 2003.
Russia ICT Connector Project has started in spring 2003 and runs with 12 Finnish companies joining it. All of them have their own targets and demands, but all of them work in the field of information technologies and have needs to strengthen their abilities to operate in Russia.
In Russia, Saint-Petersburg, where the programme has its office together with World Bank's International Finance Corporation (IFC) the programme co-operates with local software business community and has gathered practical information and contacts among them.
In the seminar in Finpro building there are several Russian companies present with the intension to discuss with Finnish companies and create active co-operation with them. This event is one public part of the programme and aims to create bridges on company and individual levels.
A few hours by car from Helsinki, on the other side of the border, you will find the great resource of the best software developers in the world and can benefit both from the extremely talented human resource and low cost structure of software development. Several large Finnish and Scandinavian companies began to outsource their software development and develop new products and technologies using the Russian resource. Follow their successful examples which you hear more about at the seminar!
