Microsoft Imagine Cup

The Microsoft Imagine Cup is the world’s premier student technology competition. Over the past ten years, more than 1.65 million students from more than 190 countries have participated in the international programming competition. This year, more than $300,000 in prizes will be given away and all finalist teams will be flown to St. Petersburg, Russia, in July 2013 for the Imagine Cup Worldwide Finals.

Imagine Cup 2013 offers young programmers a chance to:

• Break new ground and solve tough problems facing the world today
  
• Get involved in the next wave of games
  
• Learn new technological skills
  
• Test yourself against the brightest students around the world
  
• Win cash, grants, and prizes

1st place winners will receive $50,000, while second and third place will receive $10,000 and $ 5000, respectively.

Registration is open through 15 Feb. via www.imaginecup.com with regional finals being held Feb. 19 – March 23. The Worldwide Final will take place in St. Petersburg, Russia, on July 12, 2013.
