On the 16th of December, 2008 RUSSOFT Association together with marketing agency Fort-Ross and with support of a number of Global leading mobile software and hardware vendors – Forum Nokia, Microsoft, NavTeq, Intel – are holding Mobile Software Forum in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

The forum is organized in order to help establish direct communication between mobile telecom vendors, manufacturers of mobile software platforms, content producers and the mobile software developers.

The organizers create the most mass and significant event for the whole mobile software developers’ community, therefore they invite the developers and their teachers to participate in the Forum.

Target audience:
  • Mobile software developers;
  • University representatives, teaching mobile software developers;
  • Manufacturers of mobile software platforms;
  • Mobile phones, smartphones and PDA phones vendors;
  • Mobile communication service providers and banks with mobile banking services;
  • FINNODE (Russian-Finnish Center of Innovative Cooperation).
During this first event the organizers run plenary session and a couple of parallel sessions, general discussions on main trends of the market and the problems of mobile software developers society (personnel training, organization of engineering process, marketing, cooperation with technical platform vendors and various clients).

  • Analysis of the needs of the market and technological trends in mobile software development;
  • Mobile software development and strategic development of mobile communications – Guru point of view;
  • Presentation of business-models, technical opportunities, mobile platforms and development tools of the global leading vendors;
  • Dialogue between mobile technology platforms vendors and software developers and telecommunications services and content providers;
  • Organization and major issues in personnel training for mobile software industry branch (university chairmen interested in cooperation with software developers are invited to participate);
  • Ways of mobile devices implementation in government projects on social welfare, transport, healthcare, etc. Dialogue with the Government.
