Welcome to Swedish-Russian Business Days in St. Petersburg!

The Swedish Trade Council in St. Petersburg is organizing a conference in St. Petersburg on 2-4 September 2003 - Swedish Business Boat. This event is organized in co-operation with Delovoj Peterburg, the Russian subsidiary of Dagens Industri, and Ericsson in Russia.

The event devoted to the 300-year anniversary of St. Petersburg will take place in the banqueting and conference facilities of the Swedish conference ship "Teaterskeppet" that will anchor up at the English embankment in central St. Petersburg.

Swedish Business Boat will consist of two separate parts:

• Contact day within IT and Telecom (September 2)
  
• Matchmaking days (3-4 September) where Swedish companies in any industry will get opportunity to have individual meetings with Russian companies

ICT Day (2 September)

• Contact day within IT and Telecom for Swedish and Russian companies
  
• Information on the Russian IT and Telecom industry - presentations made by Russian and Swedish executives, politicians and dignitaries
  
• Extensive opportunities to create contacts with Russian companies
  
• Among Swedish speakers are Carl Bildt, Former Prime Minister, Kurt Hellstrom, Former CEO of Ericsson, Anders Igel, CEO of TeliaSonera, Ulf Dinkelspiel, Director of Swedish Trade Council and Dr. Jonas Ridderstrale
  
• Among Russian speakers are Eldar Razroev, Commercial Director of the mobile operator MegaFon, Alexander Egorov, CEO of the software development company Reksoft and Andrey Rumyantsev, Managing Director of the company OJSC "Telecom XXI"
  
• Round table discussions
  
• Online demonstrations of new services
  
• Lunch, dinner and evening entertainment included

Matchmaking Days (3-4 September)

• Swedish companies to have individual meetings with up to five Russian companies screened out by the Swedish Trade Council in St. Petersburg
  
• Swedish companies in any industry can take part
  
• Meetings could be held with potential customers, suppliers or distributors
  
• Information on the local companies to be provided prior to the visit in St. Petersburg
  
• Fact packs with information on the Russian market to be provided
  
• Matchmaking days include a Russia seminar with presentations made by Swedish executives working on the Russian market
  
• Opportunities to meet Russian students during the second matchmaking day
