Mobile Software Forum

On June 10-11 St. Petersburg will host RUSSOFT Software Development Forum organized by RUSSOFT Association together with ADMIN Ltd. company and with support of a number of global leading mobile software and hardware vendors - Forum Nokia, Intel, Microsoft, Digia, as well as "KPMG in Russia & CIS", APKIT, DLA Piper and Exigen Services.

Within the Forum framework the following events will be held:

• Mobile Software Forum. The forum is organized to help establishing direct communications between mobile telecom vendors, manufacturers of mobile software platforms, content providers, investors and software developers.

  • University representatives, teaching mobile software developers;
    
  • Manufacturers of mobile software platforms;
    
  • Mobile phones, smartphones and PDA phones vendors;
    
  • Cellular operators and mobile content providers.
  Communicating at the Forum with leading global and Russian suppliers of mobile technology products and services will let you make a right choice in marketing of your company and your products, choose potential business partners and development tools. You will also discuss the most important challenges and problems of the mobile industry and make your own contribution in the market development. Participation at the Investment Fair will allow you to evaluate prospects of fundraising for your project development and to find an investment partner.
  
  The first Mobile Software Forum was held on December 16, 2008, in St. Petersburg. The event has gathered about 150 participants, including 23 speakers at plenary sessions and round table discussions. The audience majority were software developers (63%).
  
• Nokia Technical Workshop. Nokia representatives will tell about development on Symbian, WRT and touch, MAEMO.
  
• Investment Fair of projects and investment funds. Within the Fair framework a series of presentations of specialized investment funds will be held, including funds dealing with the IT market and companies providing support for innovative business growth. The Investment Fair also provides opportunities for direct communication, face-to-face meetings, of investors with potential investment targets.
  
• Outsoursing Forum. The Forum traditionally gathers service companies specialized in software development for the Russian and foreign markets. Within the Forum framework the following issues will be discussed: the best cases of software development practice, outsourcing opportunities for mobile software development companies, aspects of legal regulation and tax optimization, perspectives of the service industry development in Russia.
  
• RUSSOFT Annual General Meeting. The RUSSOFT Annual General Meeting is held to discuss the industry annual results, voting for a new structure of Directing bodies, making plans for the forthcoming year. Mr. D.S.Severov, the Deputy Minister of the Mincomsvjaz, is invited to participate at the General Meeting. With his participation a Roundtable devoted to the state policy in the field of IT and software development will take place.
