For the first time, a Russian delegation will participate to the New York's OutsourceWorld in January 2003, in USA. Leading software development companies from Russia, Bielorussia and Ukraine, which have as well US based offices, will present their products, services and expertise. Altogether, they will be at the Russian Pavilion, named RUSSOFT Pavilion. The co-organizers of this Pavilion are Consortium "FORT-ROSS IT Services" (www.fort-ross.ru) and "RUSSOFT" (National Software Development Association) (www.russoft.org).

The Russian IT industry is a rising market with double figure growth rate for four consecutive years. There are plenty of high qualified and professional human resources, huge achievements in High Tech and important growing internal IT market. Also, the price competitiveness of Russian speaking developers allows their partners to cut expenses without affecting quality of services and products. Russian speaking IT firms offer plenty of cooperation opportunities in assisting American companies to enhance their technology infrastructure, and to develop joint products for the global market. Few US companies are already partnering with Russian speaking IT firms and some of them have development branches in Russia, like Motorola, Intel, and so on.

For 2002-2003, according to their IT Season plan, Fort-Ross and RUSSOFT are concentrating their promotion efforts in United States. Last November, a road show in New York and a round table in California were very successful and appreciated by both Russian and American participants. Other events are planned in the nearer future, like the Russian Pavilion at OutsourceWorld in NY.
