Russia Partners Sells EPAM Shares
Russia Partners, a pioneer in private equity investing in Russia and the CIS, this month sold 8.9 percent of its shares in EPAM

The transaction was worth $142.25 million, according to documents posted on the website of the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).
According to the documents, 4.15 million shares we sold at a price of $35 per share. Following the disposal of assets Russian Partners retains 46.5 million shares. The sale took place on Nov. 22.
Russia Partners is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Siguler Guff & Company, LP, a multi-strategy private equity investment firm serving corporate and public employee benefit plans, endowments, corporations, government agencies, financial institutions, family offices and high net worth individuals. Siguler Guff and its affiliates, which have over $10.0 billion in assets under management, invest opportunistically in sectors of market inefficiency.
EPAM was founded in 1993 in the U.S. and is engaged software development and IT consulting services. In 2005, the company opened development centers in Russia and Ukraine. In January 2012, EPAM held an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
