(AMEX: SBN), a global supplier of enterprise application software, was awarded the endorsement of SoftBrands' Medallion property management system (PMS) as a result of the successful certification of the Medallion Best Western Two-Way Interface.
SoftBrands Medallion is one of the key products among property management software packages targeted to the hospitality industry. Launched by Reksoft under the WinnLodge brand back in 1995 in Switzerland, Medallion is now used throughout the world - Americas, Western and Eastern Europe and China, counting more than 1000 installations. As an endorsed property management system of the Best Western, THE WORLD'S LARGEST HOTEL CHAIN (R), Medallion is now approved for potential selection in more than 2,400 North American hotels.Reksoft substantially contributed to the development of the Two-Way Interface for Best Western. The Two-Way PMS to CRS interface will make it possible to book or update guest reservations through multiple channels including the Best Western central reservation office, online or through an individual property using real-time hotel availability data for Best Western member properties. Providing single point of entry for availability, rate and reservation requirement management from the PMS, the Best Western member properties will benefit from streamlined maintenance of the Best Western CRS and multiple distribution channels.
According to the service agreement with SoftBrands Inc. signed in 2003, Reksoft provides product development services for Medallion PMS and is responsible for product maintenance and support of SoftBrands' distributors.
