St. Petersburg, Russia, May 13, 2014 – Reksoft, a Russian developer of software and information systems and member of Technoserv Group, has successfully implemented a limits book system for creating, editing, distributing, transmitting and matching financial limits for VTB bank. The system will benefit staff working in the bank’s treasury departments and its subsidiaries. The system has a geographically distributed structure that grants limits book access through the bank’s internal network to staff based in London, Moscow, Astana, Vienna, Tbilisi, Shanghai and Cyprus.

Reksoft now enjoys authorisation for product groups such as WebSphere Commerce, WebSphere Core, WebSphere Business Process Management, IBM InfoSphere, Rational Authorized, IBM Big Data & Netezza, IM Data Management, Collab Sol Portal, IBM FileNet, IBM Cognos, Smarter Cities, Expert Integrated Systems, Enterprise MktgMgmt, IBM SPSS Enterprise and IBM SPSS Statistics.

The limits book comprises a set of established bank limits published on the VTB Group intranet portal. Under the limit, funds are expressed in monetary terms to limit the counterparty. The VTB treasury allocates limits by department and makes changes to limits as it sees fit. Limits on access rights are distributed according to the bank’s hierarchical structure in accordance with the position of business units within the organisation.

The limits book system includes reporting tools, search and filtering. Transmission and distribution limits have been visualised and implemented in a tree structure. The limits book provides tools for imports and exports for integration with existing systems in bank’s divisions and subsidiaries.

"Thanks to the limits book solution, the speed of working with limits has improved dramatically, with better monitoring of compliance with limits operations," a VTB bank representative commented. "The filter and search engine mechanisms are a convenient way to monitor violations of the terms of use with limits in real time."

The limits book was integrated into VTB Group’s intranet portal, which is based on Microsoft SharePoint 2010. The Reksoft team developed integration with the bank’s subsidiaries’ existing limits management systems.

"During the project, Reksoft managed to develop an optimal interaction model with the customer, which took account of changes in operational design requirements and allowed us to solve tasks with maximum efficiency," noted Alexander Egorov, CEO of Reksoft . "The limits book has successfully passed all acceptance tests stages and was launched successfully. We continue to cooperate with VTB on further developments to the limits book and wider functionality."
