1. New presentations in the conference program
We welcome new speakers to our conference program:

Alexey Hangin (Luxoft, Moscow) "Creation of an adequate infrastructure for effective outsourcing"
Shailendra Palvia (Center for Global Outsourcing, USA) "American outsourcing market seen at the Global IT/ Software Outsourcing Conference" (March 2002, Atlanta, USA)

We would like to welcome new partners of the Summit, which will promote the vent among their networks, participate in the Summit and take a group of participants with them. These are:

1. St Petersburg Business Contact Center in Turku, Finland
   Due to the location in Turku Science Park St Petersburg Business Contact Center has very close connections to ICT companies in Turku region. They will work on collecting a group of Finnish IT companies from Turku and surrounding area and bringing them to Software Outsourcing Summit 2002
   
2. NSDA, National Software Development Association, www.nsda.ru,
   will become an information sponsor of the Summit, distribute the information about the event among its members and network and participate in the exhibition with the own stand.

3. Promotion of the show
Several steps for the promotion of Software Outsourcing Summit were undertaken:

• Information about the Summit was distributed among participants of the Comdex Nordic 2002 in Geteborg (Sweden), where Consortium Fort-Ross (main organizer of the Software Outsourcing Summit) was responsible for collective Russian Pavilion. 14 companies from St Petersburg, Moscow and Nizhniy Novgorod were presented at the Russian Pavilion, which was real success. The success was acknowledged by the visit of the Swedish Minister of Trade and by Swedish Mass-media.
  
• The Summit was promoted during the final Russian-Finish seminar called "Networking enables success"' within TACIS CBC project February 11, 2002 in Helsinki.
  
• The invitations to the Summit were sent directly to CTOs of world leading ICT companies (Fortune500, Top 100 ICT companies etc).

The Summit will be also promoted during future related events as CeBIT 2002 in Hannover in March, Global IT Outsourcing Conference in Atlanta, USA in March and OutsourceWorld London in April.

4. Partnering events
There are two partnering events of Software Outsourcing Summit. During these events the Summit will be promoted and information materials about the Summit will be distributed among the participants.

Agreement was achieved over inclusion of the Software Outsourcing Summit into the official program of the VII International Exhibition - Congress "Hi-Tech Investments Innovations" - major Russian annual event in the sphere of Technological Innovations.
