DataArt, a high-end software development company with headquarters in New York and R&D centers in Eastern Europe, was named to the prestigious Inc. 5000 List, a compendium of the most entrepreneurial and fastest growing companies in America.

DataArt was placed in the top third of the list, with an impressive three year growth rate of 171%. DataArt is ranked #114 overall in the Software Industry category and is one of only 410 companies from New York State to make the list.

"Despite the market slump of 2009, DataArt recorded a steady year-to-year revenue growth for the last decade, with 2010 proving to be our best year yet," said Eugene Goland, President of DatAart. "Our core practices, financial, travel and healthcare, have performed especially well, with important new clients added in the last few months."

DataArt has recently announced new engagements with TheMarkets.com, FX Bridge, TexTango and Wagumo. More announcements are planned for the fall.

"The leaders of the companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression," said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. "The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs."

This is the first time DataArt entered the annual competition, now in its fourth year. To see DataArt’s full Inc. 5000 profile visit http://www.inc.com/inc5000/profile/dataart
